Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold was held at Malaysia from July 6th-July11th. During this six days, Kumpoo sponsored players performed well and got great result.

At the beginning of match, they overwhelmed power through the game 1 and 2. They won the match 21-7, 21-6 and moved on to 2nd round

Same as 1st round, they did not give the opponents chances to take advantage of the game and won the match 21-7, 21-6 straight. They save the endurance to the 3rd round.
At the quarter final, they against with Japanese pair Eto & Wakita. At the beginning of the 1st game, at the maximum of six points behind, 21-18 upset of the points at the end of the game. 2nd game, they were taken the lead early in the 2nd game and could not catch up with it, then, lost 14-21. At the final game, it was a close game. They score the point in turn until 16 points but after 16points, Duanganong & Kunchala charged and scored six straight from here. Finally they won a 21-16.

It was not easy to win the match coming up to semi-final. At the 1st game, they lost easily 13-21.They were seemed to be almost beaten in the second match. But, that day, they were different. They kept within 2points behind and develop the game 8-9. After that, they took 5 consecutive points and upset the game 21-17. Final game, they kept the momentum from the second game, they had 8 points lead at maximum. At the end of the game, they were caught up with few points but still kept the lead and finished up the game 21-17.

Same as the 1st game of semi-final, they lost the 1st game with well behind. But 2nd game, they developed the game 13-15 and became the close game. After this, they took 5consecutive points and took well lead from opponents and won the 2nd game. At the final game, it also became close game. It developed 7-8 and again, they scored 7 points and kept a huge lead and finished 21-13. In this tournament, every match was close game, but they scored consecutive points many times and won the title.

They were controlled entire 1st game by opponents and lost by 15-21. At the 2nd game, it was exactly opposite to 1st game. They never allowed opponents to lead and wrapped up 21-12. Final game is totally opposite to game 1, game2. It became pretty close game. From 10-11, they gained the lead little by little, then won the match by 21-15 and got the ticket to the final.

At the 1st game, they always kept the lead and won the game by 21-13. They seemed to go all the way to the end of match with having the momentum. But the final is not that easy match. They gave the opponents lead at 2nd match and lost by 16-21. At the final game, they had lead at the moment of the final game, but they lost 4 consecutive points from 10-11. They could not keep their momentum and lost by 21-17. We hope that they will go all way to the final and get the gold medal next time,
